General Rules

1- Respect and Conduct

  • All players and staff must be treated with respect.
  • No racism, sexism, homophobia, or hate speech.
  • Slurs or offensive stereotypes will not be tolerated.
  • Any form of harassment, bullying, or targeting is not allowed.
  • Sexual content and or content of a disturbing nature is not allowed.
  • Politics or religious discussions are not allowed.

2- Privacy and Safety

Never share or request the following:

  • Real names
  • Addresses or IPs
  • Phone numbers
  • Workplace or school details
  • Bank, card, or payment info
  • Private messages
  • Personal photos without permission
     

Doxxing, threats, or talk of real life harm is ZERO TOLERANCE.

3- Chat Rules

  • English Only in all public areas - this includes global chat, item names, mob names, signs, etc.
  • You may use any language of your choice in private messages.
  • No spam (flooding chat, repeated messages, excessive symbols or emojis, split messages).
  • Do not intentionally annoy, provoke, or threaten other players.

4- Advertising and Promotion

  • We do not allow the advertisement of other Minecraft servers, IPs, or Discords.
  • We do not allow advertisement of 3rd party shops or services.
  • We do not allow encouragement of leaving AlgorithmOasisMC for other servers.

5- Reports

  • Reporting a player or server issue must come with clear evidence in the form of pictures and or videos.
  • Falsified evidence (using AI or otherwise doctoring evidence) will result in an immediate LIFETIME BAN.
  • Reports must be made in a timely manner (older than 30+ days will not be investigated).

6- Staff & Punishments

  • Do not impersonate staff members.
  • Follow the instructions given to you by staff.
  • Any complaints or issues with a punishment must be handled through an appeal or talking with a staff member.
  • Punishments can be extended, stacked, or escalated at any point.
