Acceptance of terms

By connecting to play.AlgorithmOasisMC.com or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the server or the site.

Eligibility

You need a valid Minecraft: Java Edition account to play. Your eligibility to hold that account, including any age requirements, is governed by Microsoft's own terms. We do not run a separate registration system.

Your account & conduct

You are responsible for everything that happens under your Minecraft account while playing on our server. We expect players to:

• Treat other players and staff with respect.
• Not cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorised modifications or clients that give an unfair advantage.
• Not attempt to disrupt the server. Griefing, spam, harassment and similar behaviour are not allowed.
• Follow the server rules and any additional rules announced in game or in Discord.

Enforcement

Staff enforce these terms and our rules at their discretion, using judgement appropriate to the situation. Enforcement can include warnings, temporary restrictions, item or currency removal, or permanent bans, depending on severity. The goal is a fair world for everyone playing in it, not punishment for its own sake.

Purchases & virtual goods

A server store for optional ranks, cosmetics and similar items is planned but not live yet. Once it launches, purchases will be subject to additional terms posted at checkout, including that virtual goods and perks have no real-world monetary value, are not transferable outside the server, and — except where required by law — are non-refundable once granted.

Intellectual property

The Algorithm OasisMC name, logo and original content — builds, quests and custom systems — belong to us. Minecraft itself is the property of Mojang Studios and Microsoft. We are an independent, unofficial server and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mojang or Microsoft.

Disclaimer of warranties

The server and website are provided "as is". We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we do not guarantee the server will always be available, error-free or free of data loss. This is a passion project, not a commercial hosting service with an uptime guarantee.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Algorithm OasisMC and its staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the server or website, including loss of in-game progress, items or currency.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate access to the server for any player who violates these terms or our rules, at our discretion. You can stop playing or using the site at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the server evolves. Continuing to play or use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Check the date at the top of this page.
