Your first hour

You arrive at spawn with $1,000 and a starter kit: a stone sword and tools, an iron chestplate, chainmail boots, 16 oak planks and 8 steak. Nothing is locked behind anything else, but this order works:

  1. Open the menu

The paper in your last hotbar slot opens the server menu: your profile, the guide, warps, kits and settings. /guide opens the in-game guide directly.

  2. Claim a free kit

/kits has five: PvP, Builder, Miner and Explorer every 24 hours, Farmer every 48.

  3. Take up to three jobs

/jobs. Everything you do from here on pays.

  4. Collect your daily reward

/rewards pays $100 and 1 Coin a day, with bigger weekly and monthly rewards beside it.

  5. Claim level 1

After 50 minutes of play you have the 10 XP that level 1 asks for. /levels pays it out: a Common crate key and 20 Coins.

  6. Leave spawn

/rtp opens the teleport menu. Pick the overworld and it drops you somewhere random in the survival world. Stand still for the five-second countdown.

  7. Pitch a camp

Camps are free and last 48 hours: enough time to earn the $5,000 a town costs.

  8. Start your quests

/dailyquests deals you three a day, /quests opens a board of 417 more, and /battlepass is 25 quests long.

  9. Set a home

/sethome where you settle. You get three homes.

Dying

Keep-inventory is off in every world. When you die, what you were carrying drops where you fell, on the usual despawn timer.

The exception is anything carrying the Soulbound enchantment, which stays with you. It costs 8,000 Souls from the Enchanter. A backpack is an item like any other: it drops too.

Each death also costs $1. Everything outside spawn runs on Hard, so a deep dungeon run with your best gear is a real decision.

Combat logging

Getting into a fight tags you for 10 seconds, shown as a timer above your hotbar. Log out while tagged and you die on the spot, dropping everything.

While tagged you cannot use /spawn, /home, /sethome, /warp, /tpa or /msg, and you cannot open a backpack. Tagging is switched off inside both dungeons.

Homes and teleporting

Every player has three homes (/sethome, /home), and ranks add more. Teleports have a five-second cooldown between them, and a teleport request (/tpa) expires after two minutes.

/sethome is blocked inside the dungeons, so you cannot set a shortcut back to a boss room.

The resource pack

The server sends a resource pack when you join. It is required, and declining it disconnects you: the menus, level and rank badges, crate keys and custom crops are all drawn with it.
