Spawn also holds the eleven crates, the daily quest board, the AFK pool and the PvP arena.

The survival world

The survival world uses a custom terrain generator rather than vanilla generation. Its border is a square 50,000 blocks out from the centre in every direction. The live map shows it in 3D, with the border drawn in red.

  • PvP is off. The only place players can fight is the arena at spawn.
  • Explosions in the wilderness repair themselves after 20 seconds, so a creeper does not leave a permanent crater.
  • Endermen cannot move blocks, and crops cannot be trampled.
  • Everyone online has to sleep to skip the night.

The Nether and the End

Both are the dimensions you know: standard terrain and standard mobs, with nothing custom added. They run on Hard with keep-inventory off, the same as the survival world.

  • You get there from the /rtp menu, which has a button for each.
  • PvP is off in both, as it is in the survival world.
  • The End has a border 2,500 blocks out from the centre in every direction.
  • Wilderness in the End is protected. Outside a claim you cannot place or break blocks there, apart from gathering natural resources such as ores, logs, crops and chorus plants. The Nether has no such limit.
  • Homes and teleport requests work in both, so you can set a home at a fortress and come back to it.

Random teleport

/rtp (or the Teleporter at spawn) opens a menu with three destinations: the survival world, the Nether and the End. Pick one and you land at a random spot in it. It is free. There is a five-second countdown that cancels if you move, and a ten-minute cooldown before you can use it again, shared across all three.

Warps

/warps opens the warp menu. These are the server warps:

CommandTakes you to
/warp arenaThe PvP arena
/warp auctionThe auction house
/warp cratesThe crates
/warp dungeonThe dungeon gate at spawn
/warp farmerThe Farmer and the farming shop
